Knitting in public is not to be seen its to make a scene.

Mommy and I went to Starbucks before church and knitted. Yay! It was fun. I hadn't done that in awhile. I think that last time I was at the library. I had a caramel mocha. I had never had one but it was delicious. Along with a banana loaf, although that didn't taste all that great. But it was fun to hang with mommy and work on a washcloth.

Church was okay but I could have stayed home. I know its sad that I say that but the bass was so loud that I had a headache when I went home. Mommy and I were going to go down to Stephanie's but she was tired so I went to the mall. B and Heather went as well. We actually went by Heather's mom. We got bored fast but it was still fun. We bought friendship necklaces and watched people get arrested for shoplifting. I had a banana shake from sonic and it was good. Oh I finally got a new eyeliner pencil from Hottopic. And I got to see the extremely cute Hottopic guy. Yay!

We went back to church but to life church. It was fun. They played The River by Good Charlotte. It was incredibly funny. Heather thought the music was a little too loud but she enjoyed it none the less. We almost forgot to take the movies back. And the sad news is that I couldn't find anything else to watch so I am without a movie tonight. Poo.

Rani called and we chatted for a bit. I hadn't talked to her in awhile but I was so tired I barely understood what she was saying. I also got to chat with Ashley for a bit. I loved it. We kept arguing over everything. But it was so funny. Batman is still by far the best super hero in the world! I started talking to Ash again I think we might actually hang out and that might be cool. I still need to buy Nat a graduation present.

Blah.

Washclothes, movies, and birthdays.

I feel so accomplished I can come so far. I have 22 rows of my washcloth finished. For some reason I have found this pattern a bit difficult and yet easy at the same time. And I'm not sure why but what I do know is that I am loving it. It is so awesome. I can't wait to be finish so that I can use it. I need more cotton. Yes, more, more! Lots and lots of cotton.

I forced mommy to watch Take The Lead. She liked it. I love it. But then again I love any movie that has dancing in it. From Astaire and Rogers to Grease and Dirty Dancing to Step Up and Take The Lead. I am in love with anything that has dancing and of course singing in it. Love, love, love, love, love. Yeah I know I'm crazy. We also watched the Devil Wears Prada for the second time. B, hadn't seen it. I am not sure if she liked it. But it makes me life. I don't know why I find it so funny. Especially when Emily gets hit by a cab. For some reason that is extremely hilarious. Oh and Mighty Mouse forced Open Season on us. It was not bad but I was expecting it to go where it went so it wasn't that fun to me.

Have I mentioned that my birthday is coming up? No?!! Well it is! Yes, my darlings I am about to become another year older. Yay!
Okay good night!

Dentists, cotton, and movies

Starting from the bottom. We are watching The Guardian and Eragon. They were both fun. Of course I had already seen The Guardian but I didn't mine watching again. Eragon was actually good, I didn't think that it would be. I enjoyed them. Mommy likes them too. At least I think she does, don't quote me. We have this lovely little thing called redbox which is absolutely amazing. I love it. I pay $1.09 and I have the movie until the next night at seven. And they have everything that just came out that I didn't want spend $8 on. So far I think we have rented like 10 movies. And even got one free which was The Guardian. We watched Freedom Writers the other night and that I wasn't too bad. I totally knew where it was coming from and where it was headed. But it was nice to see anyway. Oh and we watched Codename: The Cleaner. Yeah, it wasn't that great. The trailers were better than the movie. Hopefully when we rent Music and Lyrics it will turn out to be a winner.

Cotton, oh how I love my cotton. In so many pretty colors! I just love cotton. I have been using it to make head bands and wash clothes and they're so pretty. I want to make some little footies out of one of the colors but I can't find a simple pattern that doesn't take more than I have. So I am going to keep looking. I can't wait to make something else. I have no idea why I am so addicted to it right now. Also anything Debbie Bliss. I especially love the feeling of Debbie Bliss cotton. Mmm, yummy yarn.

And finally the dentist. Ugh. I hate my teeth. But its okay because they come in handy. I get to have my wisdom teeth removed next month and fillings. Sounds fun doesn't it, yeah, anybody want to take my place. I still need braces. Gosh I never wanted to be twenty with braces but that looks like how I am going to greet the new year.

Hey, hey, the birthday is almost here. I can't wait. Well actually I can I just don't want to.
And by the way we just finished the guardian and I forgot to warn mommy about the end. And well she didn't take to it too well.

I'm in a swap, I need a job, and I want some ice cream.

I want to go far, far away. You know to that place where everything is oh so beautiful, you could just sit there for hours and everything inspires you to be creative. I feel that my creativity is slipping. I am losing interest in making new things. I need a wake up call, something that will inspire me to move forward. I just don't know what it is or where to find it. I got my swap partner today! This looks like its going to be fun. I really can't wait. I love getting stuff in the mail. Don't you? Seriously raise your hand if you don't like getting stuff in the mail. Well if that's you I'm sorry. You can send all your packages to me. I don't think I will be babysitting anymore. At least not for this family. I don't know what's going on but I am not going to get mad about it. I'll probably need the sleep for the next couple of days anyway. I'm working the LPGA and it looks like I am going to be really busy. And this also means that I am back to looking for a job. I applied to work at BBW with mommy but that didn't work out so I am considering other possibilities. Michaels perhaps or Hobby Lobby. That way I can get discounts on all the stuff I buy. I wish I could work for Stephanie that would be amazing I just love her store. Oh so much beautiful yarn, you gotta love the yarn. I thought about Wal-Mart but I don't know. Mommy is not to keen on the idea. I want to do something fun. But I really hate to dress up. I always feel like I fail in that department. For instance I could sell shoes at Macy's or work one of the counters at Sears but I don't like trying to find something to wear. Especially since shopping can be such a major pain. I could apply at Hottopic but I don't know if I would like working there as much as I like shopping there. Take for example I used to love going to the library I went whenever I could but after working there for almost 2 years I can't stand the place. And we have like 24 different branches but I don't like any of them anymore. I don't want that to happen with Hottopic.I am thinking about my future a lot more. Mommy and I had a deep conversation yesterday and I think I need to get on the ball of deciding what I am going to do. My biggest fear is that I will fail her, that I will somehow lose my purpose and get off track. I want to make her proud but I don't know how. One of my biggest dreams is to have a farm of my own. And right behind that is to open my own cafe. Oh and I want my books to be published. And I think I might want to teach. I really love kids and history and literature. I think that teaching may be one of the best ways to combine them. Mommy says that I could do school online and through correspondence. I think I like that idea, I am not to keen on living alone or sharing space with someone I may not like. And then again I may just be selfish on the latter. I don't think I'm ready to leave my family, I know they drive me up the wall but I would miss them way too much. I want to go into film especially script writing. I have always wanted to do that. Maybe even a little acting. I'll take a look at my options and see what I come up with. It looks like its going to take a long time before I can even get started in the music business. I also like to design things. Outfits, websites, rooms. I love it all, the problem I can't draw worth a tree. It's all in my head. I started typing this post craving ice cream but now I've had some. And it was really good. I don't know why I love ice cream so much. I wish we had our ice cream maker here that would be so much fun. You know what's also fun? Cupcakes! I made cupcakes last night. I loved it. I hadn't done it in awhile. I missed being in the kitchen. Maybe I could open a bakery. Yeah, that would be so cool. I should probably get back to my knitting. I am working on the uptown mommy from the fall 2006 knitscene and I think I will finally start my CPH this evening. Oh and I am making mommy's Mother's day present but its a surprise so I can't share. XD

'ello. ~ Swap intro

Salutations.
My name is Janee'. I am 18 and I still live at home. I've been drinking coffee for I think the last 4 years. And I've been knitting well for the last year. My house is always filled with the smell of coffee. Ever since I can remember my daddy has been a coffee drinker. He can walk in the door and tell you exactly what is brewing in the pot. Always one of the main gifts to give away is coffee. And now yarn has joined the bandwagon. My mummy and my sister have recently joined in on the knitting and we have slowly convinced my brother into it. My mummy is still working on my daddy.
I am looking forward to this swap and I hope to meet some fun new people and drink some really good coffee.

Babysitting, headbands, and a trip to lovahville.

I feel really bad its been like 18 days since I was here. Man, I need to kkeep up better. I've been busy though. I babysit 4 days a week from about 5pm to 3am. Its a nice job but it takes a lot out of me. And when I wasn't working I was looking for other jobs, sleeping and knitting. Speaking of knitting I finished my first headband from the latest knit scene. And it is extremely large, I accidentally used the wrong type of yarn and needles. I am starting a new one and it looks a lot better. I'll post pictures later. I am going to start on my CPH tomorrow. At least I think that is what I am going to do. Yeah maybe. I am really sleepy and I think I should go to bed. Oh and the trip was amazing... Lets not let mother now to much about this. *wink, wink*
I'll try and say more tomorrow but I need to go to bed so I can get up and watch a new episode of power rangers.

There is a monster under my bed.

And you know how I know? Because everything I have ever owned that is of any importance to me has disappeared under there. This monster doesn't like me and I am kind of fond of monsters. Hmm. I cause I better hired a monster catcher and hope that his trap works.

I didn't get anything of the things on my weekend project list done. Hopefully I will finsh it before this coming weekend. I am tired. I spent the day out with mommy and I need a nap. But I probably should just got to bed and get up in the morning. I did start a new hat and I almost finished it until I messed up and and had to rip it apart. Oh the pain, oh the agony! Ooh that should be my new band name. Yeah!

Well, I think I shall call it a night and try to finish my sock. I am working on a new bag that I got out of the knit scene mag.

I know how to fall out of love...
